Here at TES, we’re laser-focused on two key areas this month: health and safety, and
environmental sustainability.
Safety First: Toolbox Talks Take Centre Stage
Throughout October, we’ve been diligently conducting Toolbox Talks across all
departments within TES. These interactive sessions serve as vital reminders of safe
working practices, potential hazards, and the importance of a collective commitment
to risk prevention. By fostering open communication and raising awareness, we aim to
cultivate a work environment where everyone feels empowered to prioritise their well-being and the well-being of their colleagues.
Building a Culture of Safety
Toolbox Talks are just one piece of the puzzle. We are actively building a strong health
and safety culture that goes beyond mere compliance. We believe that safety is an
ongoing journey, and we’re dedicated to continuously improving our procedures and
protocols to ensure everyone at TES feels valued, protected, and supported.
On the Path to Sustainability
Beyond safety, we recognise the urgent need to address the environmental challenges
facing our planet. We’re actively working towards a more sustainable future by
implementing processes that align with the UK government’s ambitious goal of
achieving net carbon neutrality by 2050. While this is a complex and ongoing process,
we are determined to do our part and contribute to a healthier planet for generations to
come.
This is just the beginning of our journey, and we remain committed to prioritising the
safety and well-being of our employees while taking concrete steps towards a more
sustainable future. Stay tuned for further updates on our progress in both health and
safety and environmental initiatives.
